FIELD DEMONSTRATION MECHANICS
Every department, Junior High School and Senior High School must have representatives
for Field Demonstration.
Every entry must showcase a performance routine that must be no less than 8 minutes
and no more than 10 minutes. Any group performing below 8 minutes or beyond 10
minutes will automatically have a 10-point deduction from all the judges before scores
are tallied.
Every group should have minimum of 30 members and maximum of 45 members and
additional 6 props man (should be wear any black attire). Any group performing less
than 30 or more than 45 members will be automatically have a 10-point deduction from
all the judges before scores are tallied.
The group can be use any song of their choice but the routine should be able to
incorporate the “Philippines Culture” theme in their dance
No lifting, stunts and tumbling. Any form of exhibition (lifting, stunts, tumbling) will
automatically have a 10-point deduction from all the judges before scores are tallied.
Choreographer outside the school is not allowed. Only MAPEH teacher is allowed to
handle the group performer. Any group who used choreographer outside the school will
automatically disqualified to the competition.

Costume and Props 20%
Over-all impact 5%

May we request approval from your good office to allow the Field Demo Performers for
our Foundation Week that will be held on February 18, 2019 to enter our school specifically in
our gym on February 16 and 17, 2019 to do our dress rehearsals and blockings in preparation
for the competition. The Field Demo Performers who will enter in our school are from the Grade
7, 8, 9, and 10. There are 45 students from Grade 7, 40 students from Grade 8, 45 students from
Grade 9, and 43 students from Grade 10.
This will be the schedule of the dress rehearsals:
Grade 7 8:00AM – 10:00AM
Grade 8 10:00AM – 12:00AM
Grade 9 12:00PM – 2:00PM
Grade 10 2:00PM – 4:00PM
