Responsibilities Handled:

 Thickness gauging for various complicated jobs.


 Ultrasonic testing:
Good knowledge about weld scanning on pipes & plates, codes and standards.
 Shear wave scan on piping & plates for longitudinal / transverse
discontinuity detection.

 Compressional wave scan on piping & vessels for corrosion/erosion
detection, lamination check, thickness measurement.
 Corrosion/ erosion mapping.

 Familiar with Analog & Digital UT flaw detectors (MODSONIC Einstein-II,


DIGISCAN)
 Perform liquid penetrant test (both fluorescent & Visible dye methods)
 Perform Magnetic particle test (both dry & wet particle methods)
 Reporting & Documentation:
 Prepare daily inspection reports and follow up approval process &
maintain documentation.
 Update inspection reports & retrieve information.

 Advanced NDT Techniques.
