c) i. Intrduction
The main purpose of this report is to present a context of how salary is paid in these
countries. Hence, the information is retrieved from the Global Age Watch Index 2015 web
site. The ten countries are such as Papua Guinea, island country in the south west of
Pacific Ocean and it is known as the world’s second largest island. Besides that, Romania is
a country of south-eastern Europe. The national capital of Romania is Bucharest. Next, Peru
is known as a tropical country in the west of South America. Peru is one of the countries with
its northern tip nearly touching the Equator. Furthermore, Kenya is a country in East Africa
as it is famous for its scenic landscapes and vast wildlife preserves. The Indian Ocean coast
in Kenya provides ports by goods from traders for many centuries. On the other hand,
Maldives, is an independent island country in the north-central of the Indian Ocean.
Maldives is known as one of the poorest countries in the world as the country develops their
economy by fishing, boatbuilding, tourism, and boat repairing. Moreover, Nigeria is a
country located on the western coast of Africa. It has a diverse geography, from arid to
humid equatorial is their climate ranging. Other than that, Georgia is a country that was
founded by James Oglethorpe on February 12, 1733. It was the thirteenth of the 13 original
colonies. Madagascar is an island country with distance of the south-eastern coast of Africa.
Madagascar is known as the fourth largest island in the globe, after New Guinea, Greenland,
and Borneo. Next, Vietnam is a country that occupies the eastern portion of mainland of
Southeast Asia. It has a long history of connecting with a dominant civilization and
transforming civilization’s institutions, ideas, and technology to their purposes. Last but not
least, India is a country that occupies the bigger part of South Asia. India is the second
most-populous country, after China with roughly one-sixth of the world’s total population.

Which country in your survey list has the maximum average salary?
The country that has the maximum average salary are Papua New Guinea. Salaries in
Papua New Guinea range between 758 PGK per month to 24,801 PGK per month.
What are the job category earning the most in the countries?
According to the table at the below, we can know that the highest salaries for the popular
job is dentist. Dentist has the highest salaries in each of country. Besides that, after we are
going through all the job categories for each country, we found that health and medical has
the highest average salaries out of other.

What are the reasons and factors that caused those countries having high salary in
those job category?
Refer to the table on top, we found that dentist is the most popular job and the highest salary
occupation. The reason why dentist has so many salaries is because dentist is not so many
in each country. The dentists virtually get their paid exclude when they work for charity.
There is still has dental insurance, but it will not reduce the paid of dentist.
The health and medicals are the one of the job categories that have a high average salary
compare to other job categories for each country. According to the research, that is because
the expenses to the medical is a necessary thing such as medical insurance. 4 out of 10
adults have purchase the medical insurance.
