Transcript/Attendance Reflection

I once saw a tweet on twitter that said, “grades are not a measurement of intelligence, but

a measurement of obedience.” After careful consideration, I don't think I could agree with this

tweet any more. Throughout my 4 years of highschool I have learned that everything makes a

difference in school work. One day you might fall asleep early and decide to take a collective

loss on a homework assignment that you had not motivation to complete. In the future, this

missing assignment can mean the difference between a letter grade in Aries. This was a

continuous problem for me in highschool.

Playing 3 sports in High School, every once in awhile I would throw a homework

assignment aside because my brain definitely preferred my comfy bed rather than my desk.

Some of these times these assignment made or broke my grade, and I felt myself with a 89.0%

with a teacher that felt extra credit to an active student was immoral. Although I would get a B+

in a couple of my classes, I don't think that this grade tarnishes my intelligence. I have always

been one of the most dedicated students in my classes, and although I am not graduating

salutatorian like many of my peers, but I believe a 4.1 with all of my extracurriculars isn't

something to be disappointed about.

I am proud of myself and my effort throughout high school.
