2018 Math Quiz Bee

Part II

Introduction:

Mathematics is a place where you can do things which you cant do in the real word. It is
the universal language. It rises above words. In fact it is possible that Mathematics will be the
common link between ourselves and any aliens we may one day meet. And most of all
Mathematics is an adventure…there are always new things to discover and learn.

Start

Both: Good afternoon and welcome to the 2018 District Mathematics Quiz Bee!

Sir Ivor: To formally start our program, may I invite everyone to please stand for the singing of
the National Anthem, and please remain standing for the singing of the Capiz Hymn after the
prayer to be conducted by the ever beautiful and gorgeous Mathematics Coordinator of
Domingo M. locsin Elementary School, Mrs. Maricel L. Draper,

Jane: Gods used beautiful mathematics in creating the world. To start with, let us seek the
guidance of our Almighty Father through a prayer to be led by Mr. Alfredo D. Cordero

Sir Ivor: At this point in time , the very active and systematic Principal III of President Roxas East
Elementary School, Mr. Gerebelito D. Dadivas will give us his words of welcome.

Thank you so much sir for that words of hospitality and humility.

Jane: To add inspiration and motivation to our contestants, let us all hear the message of our
very supportive and affectionate District Supervisor, Mr. Zaldy B. Caalam. Lets give him around
of applause.

Thank you so much sir for that very comforting words of encouragement.

Ivor: To break that feeling of seriousness and to make our participants relaxed, we will have an
intermission number from the selected pupils of President Roxas East Elementary School. Lets
give them a round of applause.

Thank you so much children for that entertaining dance moves.

Jane: At this juncture, the ever jolly Mrs. Wilma C. Baril will Present to us the contestants,
coaches and the quiz bee official

Thank you mam for that very entertaining attendance chack.

Ivor: At this point of time, we will give the floor to Mr. Enrico Banico Jr, School Mathematics
Coordinator of Bayuyan Elementary School for the reading of contest rules and mechanics.

Part III ( Contest Proper)

Jane: The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach you full potential….these were
the keys to unlock the door to personal excellence. Good luck to each and every one.
Sir Ivor: We will now proceed to our contest proper. I guess everyone is ready… Without
much ado, let’s all welcome… Our quizmasters… _____________________ and

Part IV -Announcement of winners

Jane: Success consists of going from one failure to another without lots of enthusiasm.
Sometimes we nned to lose the small battle in order to find a new way to win the fight.

Sir Ivor: At this very moment we will havr the announcement of winners and the awarding of
medals and certificates by the three nicest math wizard of the district.
