Transcript Reflection
Transcripts must tell you something about a person, but it may not be the whole truth because
looks can be deceiving. My personal transcript I believe does say something about me, but not of
who I really am. Because how can you express your outgoing personality on a transcript, how
can you express our public speaking skills on a transcript, how can you show how involved you
are in the community and in your school on a transcript. You can´t. I mean sure you can see that
I am in Ag classes, and Leadership, and that I take AP classes, but so what. You can be in things
but not be involved in them. My transcript is not a true reflection of my capabilities, I know I am
able to do more, I know I have, I know that I have a great personality and am able to start up
conversation with strangers. I am bold, I am confident, I am not afraid to get out of my boundarie
sand attempt new things. My transcript does not reflect that. My transcript does reflect that my
grades are average, although I do take advanced classes. I am not the straight A valedictorian
who is in the leadership class, nor am I the star player. What it does reflect is that I am smart, but
if I tried a little harder and put all the socialization aside I could be the Valedictorian, that is not
what happened and no one can change the past. But I do not regret going to football games,
baseball game, water polo games, and as many activities as I could to make the most memories
out of my highschool years. I met new people at these events and knowing people is something
that is really valuable to me. I learned that it is all about who you know. You may have so many
accomplishments etc but the person who gets to know others will have so much more help to
succeed. My attendance shows I go to school on a daily basis, hardly miss any days. I enjoy
going to school, because I get to interact with others and learn new things, I am moving around
always doing something. I don't hate school like many others, I really enjoy my teachers and
fellow peers, because that is who I am.
