1. Laptops
A laptop or laptop is a mobile computer that is relatively small and light in size,
weighing from 1 to 6 kg, depending on the size, material, and specifications of the laptop.
Laptop resources come from batteries or A / C adapters that can be used to recharge the
battery and turn on the laptop itself. Laptop batteries in general can last about 2 to 6 hours
before finally running out, depending on how to use, specifications, and the size of the
battery. Laptops are sometimes referred to as notebook or notebook computers.
As a personal computer, laptops have the same functions as desktop computers
(desktop computers) in general. The components contained in it are exactly the same as
the components on the desktop, only the size is reduced, made lighter, less hot, and more
power efficient.
Most laptops use LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens measuring 10 inches to 17
inches depending on the size of the laptop itself. In addition, the keyboard on the laptop is
also sometimes equipped with a touch board that functions as a "replacement" for the
mouse. Additional keyboards and mice can be installed via Universal Serial Bus or PS / 2
sockets if available.
Unlike desktop computers, laptops have support components specifically designed to
accommodate the portable nature of portable computers. The main properties possessed
by the constituent components of the laptop are small size, saving energy consumption,
and efficient. Portable computers are usually more expensive, depending on the brand
and specifications of its constituent components, however, the price of portable
computers is getting closer to the desktop along with the increasing level of consumer
demand.
2. Smartphones
Smartphones or smartphones are mobile phones that have the ability to use and
function that resembles a computer. There are no factory standards that determine the
meaning of a smartphone. For some people, smart phones are phones that work using
all operating system software that provides standard and basic relationships for
application developers. For others, smart phones are just a telephone that presents
advanced features such as e-mail (e-mail), the internet and the ability to read
electronic books (e-books) or there is a keyboard (both as it is and connected) and
VGA connectors. In other words, smart phones are small computers that have the
ability of a telephone.
The growing demand for advanced, easy-to-carry tools has made great progress in
processing, memory, screens and operating systems that have been out of the way of
mobile phones for several years.
