Reporting guidelines

Group Report

Page Margins 25mm on all sides (top, bottom, left, right)

12-pt. Times Roman or Courier. For figures, however, use a sans serif font such as
Font
Arial.

Spacing Double-spaced

Alignment of Text Flush left (with an even right margin)

End of Sentence Leave one space after a period unless stated otherwise

On every page in the upper right margin, 12mm from the top and flush with the right
Page Numbers margin, two or three words of the paper title (this is called the running head) appear five
spaces to the left of the page number, beginning with the title page.

The title page is always the first page.


Below the running head, the following are centered on their own lines, using upper and
lower case:

Title Page  Project title (font size – 16)

 Your names

 Your group no

 Date of Submission

Both top level and second level headings should be flush left, using upper and lower
Section Headings
case.

Unless your lecturer tells you otherwise, tables and illustrations appear within the text
appropriately.
Double-spaced between the table and text, the title of the table typed flush left (using
uppercase and lowercase letters) with the Table number.
Tables & Illustrations
For figures the label Figure 1 (etc.) is italicized and the caption itself is not. The figures
themselves placed within the text appropriately.
Table captions to be placed on top of the table where as the Figure captions to be placed
at the bottom of the figures

Each of these sections (if present) begins on a new page:

 Title page

 Self declaration form (uploaded separately)

 Abstract
 Body-Introduction ending with the objectives, Literature review,
Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion

 References

 Appendixes

Word limit Between – 6000-8000 (includes body only)

Reference style Chicago referencing

Binding Required for the final submission only

Individual Report

following are centred on their own lines, using upper and lower case:

 Project title (font size – 16)

 Your name
Title Page
 Your group no

 Date of Submission

 Type the words Individual report on the top right hand side above the title

Formatting All formatting as per the group report as stated above

Divide the brief report in to two sections.


Section 1- This should concisely explain the individual’s contribution towards the
Content success of the group project.
Section 2- This should contain the self-reflections occurred due to working as a member
of the research group during the project period.

Word limit Between 600 - 750
