El Capitan High School Color Guard Pride

Pride Sample 

Color Guard
I am super proud to be a member of the El Capitan high school Color Guard
it was best high school experience I could ever ask for. I have put in so much of
my time into this activity practicing 5-9 every monday and friday then 9-9 every
saturday. At world championships we made it to finals and placed 14th place out of
56 schools. While at world championships we practiced everyday just to feel extra
prepared. But I’m not just proud of the accomplishments we had I am also proud of
all the effort my teammates and I have put into this activity that we all love.

● The varsity has won a local championship 3 years in a row and I was part of varsity for
my junior and senior year.
● Every year we would complete a year of guard we would get a bandana with
a specific color to match your grade

● This is a corner of my room I dedicated to hanging up souvenirs from all my


years of guard.
