E Prep Science: Planning for Labs
February 4, 2019
Everybody Writes:
How do you feel about doing labs, inquiry or design in your class?
What is holding you back from doing this more often?
What has gone wrong in the past? What would like to try in the future?
For your Spring SLO II task, what do you think your kids will struggle with
the MOST?
Behind the Scenes: Lab Pre-Planning and Internalization

Virtual Lab Preparation
Most Important Aspects to Think About Beforehand:
● What device will the scholars be using?
● Does the website work on scholar devices? Do they need login
information?
● What will you be going over with the scholars? Focus on how to use
the website
● Is there any additional information that is scholars are required to
know that you need to pre-teach?
● What are the expectations while working? (Voice level, headphones,
how long will technology be open, questions that can be asked)
