Guidelines for writing Synopsis Report

1. The Synopsis Report must be written in Times New Roman Font using Justify alignment.
Font size of 14 and 12 must be maintained for Headings and normal text writing
respectively throughout the report. Sub sections wherever applicable must be marked
accordingly.

2. The Synopsis must bear proper page numbering along with proper reference wherever
applicable.

3. Please submit math equations as editable text and not as images. Present simple formulae in
line with normal text where possible and use the solidus (/) instead of a horizontal line for small
fractional terms, e.g., X/Y. In principle, variables are to be presented in italics.

4. Following points may be followed in preparing figures.


 Make sure uniform lettering and sizing of figures has been maintained.
 Aim to use the following fonts in illustrations: Arial, Courier, Times New Roman,
Symbol, or use fonts that looks similar.
 Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the text.
 Use a logical naming convention for figure files.
 Provide appropriate captions to illustrations.
