PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
This chapter contains the presentation, analyses and
interpretations of the data which the researcher has
gathered. There are 9 tables and 3 figures presented in
this portion of the study.
Level of Preference of the Different Occupational Fields
of Grade 10 Students Grouped by Sex .
Male Students’ Level of Occupational Preference
As reflected in Table 2, of the 186 male students,
48 or 25.81 percent gave high preference for Science.
Seventy nine or 42.47, percent moderate preference, 39 or
20.97 percent low preference while, 20 or 10.75 percent gave
this occupational field very low preference. Science got
2.83 weighted mean which goes to show that it is given
moderate preference.
In the field of Natural Science, 56 or 30.11 percent
put high preference to it ,72 or38.71 percent moderate
preference, the rest composed of 37 or 19.89 percent ,low
preference and 21 or 11.29 percent gave very low preference.
