-Nonverbal cues and symbols
Tier 3
-Behavior meetings
-Teach conflict resolution skills
-Teach coping skills
Consequences-
-Student will be written up by the school’s discipline policy
-Student will have to leave the classroom
-Student might have to go to another classroom and work in isolation
Review this plan weekly until behavior gets better. Move to twice a month and so on if behavior
improves
Inappropriate Language

Swear or curse
Talk about inappropriate things and/or make sexual comments
Use sensitive words in an insulting or joking manner, like “retarded”, “gay”, etc.

-Have positive relationships with teachers and peers
-Think before speaking

-Talk with the student one on one
-Teach social skills
-Model appropriate language
Tier 2
-Daily behavior form
-Teaching relationship skills
-Praise game
Tier 3
-Behavior intervention plan
-Counselor referral
-Alternatives to suspension
Consequences-
-School consequences enforced
-Must leave and go to counselor’s office
-Privileges taken away
Will review as often as necessary. Once a week unless behavior has improved then less often.
