ABSTRACT
The Shrimp Rover Robot
Thesis Supervisor: Zain Shabir Designation: Lecturer
The study of a wheeled robot with multi-directional quality and rovers climb ability is
[Link] rovers with strong locomotion style had been developed. However, the
rover locomotion style with multi-directional quality has not been self-addressed
unremarkably. Shrimp, an innovative long vary rover design with six motorized wheels.
Using a rhombus configuration, the rover has a steering wheel in both, the front and the
rear, and two wheels arranged on a bogie on each side. The front wheel has a spring
suspension to ensure optimal ground contact of all wheels at any time. The steering of the
rover is realized by synchronizing the steering of the front and rear wheel and the speed
difference of the bogie wheels. Shrimp mechanical system and parallel bogies were
utilized as automaton locomotion. It adapts to the parcel of land profile passively and it's
higher climb capability than alternative rovers. to attain a singularity less motion, the
kinematic model of a wheeled mobile automaton, as well as a platform equipped with six
multi-directional wheels is developed.

from many people and I am extremely privileged to have got this all along the completion
of my project. All that I have done is only due to such supervision and assistance and I
would not forget to thank them.
I respect and thank [Link] Murtaza for providing me an opportunity to do the project
work in Work Shop and giving us all support and guidance which made me complete the
project duly. I am extremely thankful to him for providing such a nice support and
guidance, although he had busy schedule managing the corporate affairs.
I owe my deep gratitude to our project guide [Link] Shabir who took keen interest on
our project work and guided us all along, till the completion of our project work by
providing all the necessary information for developing a good system.
I am thankful to and fortunate enough to get constant encouragement, support and
guidance from all Teaching staffs of Electrical Electronics & Communication
Engineering which helped us in successfully completing our project work. Also, I would
like to extend our sincere esteems to all staff in laboratory for their timely support.
