Create 3D Solid Primitives:
Switch to the 3D Modeling Workspace
1. On the status bar, at the bottom of the drawing area, click the Workspace
Switching button.
2. On the Workspace menu, click 3D Modeling.
* The 3D Modeling workspace is displayed. The Workspaces icon in the status bar
indicates that you are now in the 3D Modeling workspace.
Create Basic 3D Objects
Box
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value @ length,width,height (height can be +ve or –ve
values)
Cylinder
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value for radius and press Enter.
3. At the prompt, enter value for height and press Enter
Cone
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value for radius and press Enter.
3. At the prompt, enter value for height and press Enter.
Sphere
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value for radius and press Enter.
Pyramid
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value for radius and press Enter.
3. At the prompt, enter value for height and press Enter.
Wedge
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value @ length,width,height
Torus
Steps:
1. Click any point in the drawing to specify a base point.
2. At the prompt, enter value for radius and press Enter.
3. At the prompt, enter value for tube radius and press Enter.
