Some issues workarounds:
#########################
Upgrading from an older WMC enabled system, the WMC may not start at all, w/o
visible error.
In that case just launch the new reset settings script once
#########################
The DVD player should be installed automatically by WMC, if for same reason it does
not work, do it manually using the instructionas below
After installing the pack and starting WMC, check Windows Update to see if it
installs Update KB3081704
this would solve "Display Driver error" issue that may occur
if it didn't, you can Install the update (Windows 10 DVD player) manually from:

#########################
This shouldn't needed anymore in WMC V8.7, but just in case....
To have WMC to wake up for recordings, you may need to make "NETWORK SERVICE" a
member of the administrator group
Run [Link], or right-click on Start button and select: Computer Management >
Local users & Groups
then:
Groups > Administrators > Add > "network service" > Check names > OK
or directly use command prompt as admin:
for /f "usebackq delims=" %x in (`powershell "(New-Object
[Link]('S-1-5-32-
544')).Translate([[Link]]).[Link]([[Link]]::Dire
ctorySeparatorChar)[1]"`) do set "admins=%x"
for /f "usebackq delims=" %x in (`powershell "(New-Object
[Link]('S-1-5-
20')).Translate([[Link]]).Value"`) do set "netsvc=%x"
net localgroup %admins% "%netsvc%" /add

(Keep in mind that altough based on two proven packages the current V8.5 may still
have unnoticed problems and/or mistakes)
#############
Important:
#############
After you download the pack, make sure the file is Unblocked
to do so, right click on file, go to properties - general tab - click Unblock
button if present
#############
Instructions:
#############
0) Extract the package to a directory with simple short path without spaces in it
(i.e. C:\WMC85)
if you previously tried another/older pack, or your system is upgraded from Windows
7/8.1 with Media Center
you may run [Link] to remove the pack/leftovers properly, and reboot the
system afterwards
1) Click on _TestRights.cmd, if another command prompt window is opened, then close
it and proceed to step 2)
if no cmd window opened, then you need to reboot the system and test again.
2) Run the outer [Link] script as administrator to install the pack

Uninstall Note:
After to unistall the pack, these three files may still exist due locked status:
C:\Windows\ehome\[Link]
C:\Windows\ehome\[Link]
C:\Windows\ehome\[Link]
to get rid of them, you have to reboot, afterwards run _TestRights.cmd and execute
this at cmd:
rd /s /q C:\Windows\ehome
