Configuration Steps:

In the New Switch

[Link] default, switches are numbered as 1. Renumber it to 3 if you are adding the 3rd switch
switch# switch 1 renum 3
WARNING: Changing the switch number may result in a configuration change for that switch. 
The interface configuration associated with the old switch number will remain as a provisioned configuration.
Do you want to continue?[y/n] Y
switch# wr mem
switch# reload

1. Change priority to 13
switch# switch 3 priority 13

1. Turn Off the switch and connect stack cables now. DO NOT POWER IT ON NOw

Provisioning a New Member for a Switch Stack

This optional task is available only from the active switch.

5. copy running-config startup-config
