The listed forms apply only to certain scholarship programmes. For most programmes,
applications have to be submitted online via the DAAD portal (via [Link]);
an application with the PDF/Word forms listed here is invalid for these programmes! To
find out which application procedure is the right one, please refer to the call for
applications in the scholarship database.

You will have to download the DAAD Application for Research Grants and Study
Scholarships as a PDF file, print and complete it, and mail it along with your application
documents.

Please note that some Higher Education Institutions in certain federal states of Germany (e.g.
Bavaria) do not accept the application form you find here.
Please make sure before applying to a certain University or Fachhochschule that the
application form will be accepted. You can find further information on the application process
