4th Grade Lesson Plan 4.

1. Goal: To practice naming the notes on the Treble Clef staff

2. Objectives: SWBAT
 ID and perform the notes B, A, G
 ID the notes on the treble clef staff

3. Materials: recorders; recorder music/worksheets; student folders

4. Procedure
1. Hellos (Introduction of Mrs. F and students!)

2. ANN Presentation
 Explain that there is another way to read notes on a staff
 Explain what a treble clef does
 Teach the sayings of the treble clef staff
 Name notes on the board together
 Play around the world game with note naming

3. Recorder Karate
 Explanation of RK program and student/teacher expectations
 Pass out recorder music
 Sing through white belt songs
 Recorders next week!

4. Play Note Naming Game


 Use computer to play note naming game as a whole class, if time remains
