Select (S):

This lesson is in the math class. It’s explaining how can solve the fraction by using the division.

Describe (D):

This lesson for year five students to teach them how to division the fractions. It was in grade five
math class in the school. In this lesson, the students think about how to solve the fraction using
the division.

Analyze (A):
I think the students responded with the way that they did because they understood all the
instructions of the activities and the goals of the lesson. I have engaged their understanding
through did review about the last lesson to see if they remember what they learned and to
understand the new lesson, because it’s connecting with the last lesson.
Appraise (A):

There was no experiment in this lesson, but the I tasted the students understanding through give
them some different question cards and asked from them to solve it.

I believe that this lesson meets my teaching goals, because the students understood well the
concept of the lesson and they have a lot of information and experiences about it and I saw that
during their discussions and writing different math problems on the board.

Transform (T):

In the future I will enhance student learning of this lesson through using other ideas to refresh their
thinking more. For example, at the middle of the class I will present some videos that talking about
the division fraction. The implications for my professional practice are it can improve my skills more
and achieve my teaching goals during the semester.
