Instructions are clear & concise
Comments:
Fatma used a fun engaging story which required the children to be active and involved
throughout the story. She told the story really well win lots of expression and enthusiasm.
She made sure there were many activities scattered around in the centers all related to the
story and the objective she had planned.
Assessment
Designs & implements simple diagnostic assessment (possibly through questions or a classroom task)
Comments:
Fatma has a wonderful way with the children and she always checks their learning through
questioning during her teaching time. Also during activity time she went around to all the
activities and modelled each one to those who were confused and asked those who were not
confided to lead the others. She also independently used the school assessment focus sheet
to mark off the children at their level as they completed their Taskd, clearly marking of the
were emerging or expected on the learning objective
Reflection on Practice
Asks a range of questions to guide reflections on her classroom practice
Comments:
This session was planned and carried out by fatma independently which was great because it
showed how much she had grown in confidence and trusted her own ideas and her own
practice which is very important to the development of teachers.
