TEMPERATURE SWITCH
ZFSWA - Standard Adjustable

1 Install Temperature Switch 2 Adjust Temperature Switch

A. Attach the negative fan motor wire to the #1 post of the Temp. A. Idle the vehicle.
Switch. Note: Disregard the #2 post unless a manual switch is to be used. (see
below instructions) B. Turn the adjustment completely clockwise. When the engine
temperature gets above normal, turn the adjustment counter-clockwise
B. Attach the positive fan motor wire to a 12V positive source. Note: Use until fan activates.

C. Connect the #3 post of the temperature switch to ground. OPTIONAL

D. Loosen upper radiator hose at the radiator, pull the hose off the
radiator inlet pipe. A. Connect the Power Post of the manual switch to the C post of the
Temp Switch.
E. Insert sensor bulb, bend the sensor bulb tube around the end of the
radiator inlet pipe. Note: The tube is hollow, do not kink. Use wide bends. Do B. Connect the Gound Post to a chassis ground.
not bend less than 1/4" radius.

F. Place sensor gasket (rubber piece with the slit) between the sensor
bulb and radiator inlet pipe. Be sure the tube lays in the slit of the
rubber gasket.

G. Wrap vinyl tape around the inlet pipe and sensor tube at least twice.

H. Replace radiator hose, tighten clamp. (Do not over-tighten)
