The Line Matching Unit BLM-1000 is used to allow proper coupling of PLC equipments to
LINE MATCHING UNIT FOR high-voltage lines.
POWER LINE COMMUNICATION BLM-1000 has a modular structure that allows to adapt the System configuration to
customer interfaces creating different solutions for every type of demand.
Fundamental component of the power line BLM-1000 provides impedance adaptation between PLC output and the transmission line
infrastructure which provides galvanic insulation and ensures low-impedance path from the carrier to the transmission line via the coupling
from the High Voltage power line, offers optimal capacitor.

BLM-1000 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Configuration and Installation
BLM-1000 system is designed for mounting on a wall or on a pole.
In case of pole mounting, the appropriate mounting frame must be used. This frame allows mounting BLM-1000 on a pole with 200mm nominal
diameter, but also allows it to adapt to smaller and bigger poles since the mechanical seal is guaranteed by two steel belts type “Band-It”. Each belt is
½” width and has a thickness of 0.76mm.
In case of wall mounting, specific brackets are provided for vertical mounting and also for horizontal mounting, in order to allow fixing of the container
on trellis of different shapes.
The connection to the HV line is made through a cable guide in the upper part of BLM-1000 container, adapted to accommodate an high voltage cable
(12/20kV with copper core), which can be provided together with the container. Conductor section is 50 mm and cable length is 150cm.
The connection to PLC terminal is allowed through three holes protected by cable guide, which enable you to connect to terminals P1/T1, P2/T2 and
P3/T3 according to the allocation described in BLM-1000 Installation Manual. It is emphasized that, once you have made the required settings, you do
not need to make any fine adjustments on BLM-1000 device.
