GOALS UPDATE: STINT 5 WITH DRILL AND BLAST

NEW GOALS:

1. To understand how to do tie-ups, and produce at least one that is approved for final tie up. Done. Have
done final tie-ups for trims, production trims (PH 9, PH 14), toes. Next step: Ramp final tie-ups. .

2. To understand more of the D&B space; progress from planning and designs to implementation and
reviews: Started with the EOM for September. Also did final designs (adjustments, angle holes etc). Will follow
DB to do inspection at DNX depot.

a. I believe this is where cost analysis, full blast analysis, stocktakes etc comes in.

3. Be more active in meetings (next 24 hrs, pre-plans, blast reviews). That means understanding D&B in and
out (did up and presented this week’s DNB recon. Good FB from GK, KO). Stood in for DnB in pre-starts,
woksmart, next 24 hrs. Answered questions satisfactorily. .

4. Go to the pit EVERY DAY Doing so. Have initiated visiting the shot to see how it’s progressing. Did the final
tie up only after I inspected the shot.

5. Drive Ops rotation Philip Anamni left, I’m filling in for him. Pushed out my Ops rotation. Will discuss.

PREVIOUS GOALS:

1. Design patterns: (Am doing at least 2 designs every day, and have done pre-splits, toes, production-
trims, production and am putting an eye out for ramp shots. Will do 728 BM.
2. Understand all SOPs: Done. Found ‘em, read ‘em.
3. Ideal DNB Process Done. Reviewed with Mentor.
4. DnB standards: Done. We’re using a blanket for different shot types (production, trim-production for
each phase).

Closed off L1 and L2 of my workbook with KO. You’re gonna sign it off tomorrow.

Regards,

Inali
