The “Car Rental Inventory Management System” was
created to easily monitor and record the costumer
transactions and to easily process their payments. It is
also to make the saving of data fast and easy so that the
admin or the one who will input or record the data will
easily understand the data and so that the company will have
safe records of the inventory and transactions that they
had.

Introduction
Visual Studio Express is a fast and easy way to create
programs for Microsoft Windows. Even if you are new to
Windows programming, with Visual Studio you have a complete
set of tools to simplify development. We’re here to create a
system named “Car Rental Inventory management system” a
system that can use in some business where you can have your
portrait through the help of this system.
In our generation there are many Car Rental companies
that used to save data’s manually. In this case, all the
operations are performed using the concept of file keeping
and work performed using pen and paper. This process takes
time in finding any previous records and more chances of
data duplication in various files which results in
confliction and may create problem for financial
calculations. Some people don’t know that there is a better
system that can be used to make things faster and easier,
and also a system that can prevent massive consumption of
time.
The Car Rental Inventory Management System would enable
the employees to save data and information instantly without
any hassle. It keeps all data related to sales, purchase,
payment details and their customer details in each different
file. The output of this system is the receipt that will
give after inputting the customer’s information in the
system it includes the portrait order and also the amount of
deposit and balance of the customer. This system can truly
assure you that it is convenient to use and can guarantee
that the quality of this system is better to use in some
companies.

Background Studies
We came up with the layout of the system which is a
simple yet understandable. It was based on what would fit
the office environment. Although we are considering to make
the app more user friendly in the future. The of this system
is to make the saving of data and transactions in Car
Renting business more efficient because likewise most of the
companies in this industry relay heavily in the process of
saving their data of customers manually, through the help of
pen and paper. In that case the information and transactions
with the customers are harder to record.
User of the system
The “Car Rental Inventory Management System” would
enable to put information about the customers. It’s simply
means that the one who is using the system would be the
employees of the Car Rental Companies. The employees would
be the one main user of this system.
Scope and Limitations
In this system we encourage all the Car Rental
Companies to use this. The purpose of this system is to make
the customer’s information and transactions be recorded
easily, and be able to see the transaction and inventory
records in the system so that they can be assure that I
there is a problem on one of the transaction it would be
easy to look over the transaction records along with the
customer’s information records.
The system can only be used by the company or employees
in particular. The system also does not yet have a form for
the customers of the Car rental Companies in which they
would be the one who would input their own transaction
records in thus would make the recording of transaction data
more quick and efficient.

Summary of Findings
The salient findings of the study are as follows:
1. Is it necessary for the background/theme of the system
to be simple?
The respondents assessed if is it necessary for the

Conclusion
Based on the findings of the study, the following
conclusions are drawn:
1. The respondents conclude that the background/theme of
the system should be more creative.
Recommendation
Based on our classmate’s reactions and comments, the
following recommendations are suggested:
1. The respondents recommended that we improve our system
by being more creative when it comes to the designing
parts. So, that it would be more user friendly
2. The respondents also recommended that we should have a
customer form/version of the system to make the data
transaction gathering be quicker and efficient.
3. Some also suggested that the system needs a little more
forms and a little more info. Making those little
tweaks help the development of the system thus making
it a “User Friendly” System.
