Dear Dr. Milagros Grief:
I would like to ask if it is possible for me to shift to another course. My current course is
Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and I would like to be transferred to
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in MAPEH, I am certain that moving to another
course will be for the betterment of my career as an individual in the future.
The main reason I am shifting to another course is because I really wanted to pursue a
career in education since being an educator is what I’m really passionate about. It is my
dream profession and I know I can fully utilize all my abilities in this kind of field. Another
reason is that, I did not really intend to choose Bachelor of Science in Tourism
Management as my course, it was the course that was chosen for me by my eldest
sister and since she’s the bread winner of our family I had to obey her decision.
However, due to some issues between my sister and her employer, she needed to quit
her current job. Now that she’s currently unemployed, it has greatly affected our
financial situation. For this reason, I want to study a course which I think will generate
lesser expenses but also the course I really wanted. It was both of our decision to
change my course and I believe that this is for the best of my interest to pursue my
studies in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in MAPEH.
I understand that there has no assurance that my request will be promptly accepted
because the enrollment will start within this month but this is a really crucial thing for me
and for my future career, I genuinely hope that my request will be granted. I’m looking
