Sewing Pattern — Top 5307

Recommendations on fabric: knit fabric (cotton, viscose)

You will also need: 3 buttons

If the pattern has double contour the seam allowances are


included. They are 1 cm unless specified otherwise.
If the pattern has single contour, the seam allowances are
NOT included and need to be added when laying out and
cutting details.

Seam allowances: 1 cm on all edges, 2 cm on central back


seam for sewing in zipper, 2 cm on hem

Attention! First of all please print all the paper patterns and lay
them out at the width of fabric you plan to use (usually from
90 to 150 cm) to see how much fabric you will need. Don't
forget to count pair parts and symmetrical parts.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches, they


must coincide.

CUTTING:

(On the pattern pieces, “beam” means straight of grain. Lay out your pieces accordingly. Some
pieces will be cut on the fold. This is noted on the pattern piece. Mark all notches and other design
features such as pleats etc. from the pattern onto your fabric.)

Fabric:

1. top - cut 2
2. tie – cut 1

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fold and press 1 cm of the hem of bottom edge to wrong side, for both tops.
2. Fold the tie along the center, right sides together, then stitch, turn out and stitch ends.
3. Stitch the neckline, right sides together.
4. Stitch the armholes, leaving an opening at the neck for the tie.
5. Stitch center back edges.
6. Turn the top right side out and press.
7. Stitch a channel along the neckline for the tie.
8. Pull the tie through the channel.

9. Match the folded edges of the bottom and topstitch. Topstitch around the edges of the rest of the
top.
10. Work three button holes on back left and sew three buttons on right.
