Fourth Grade:
Complete any homework remaining first, and collect from students. Grade all
homework immediately if possible. Have students play two games to work
with comparative and superlative adjectives: the “choose a side” game
(comparative v. superlative) in which students will hear and word and identify
if it is superlative or comparative by moving to that side of the room, and the
flyswatter game in which students will be given a word and asked for either
the superlative or comparative form or they will be given a sentence to
complete with the correct form.
