HEREDITY: INHERITANCE AND VARIATION
Topic : Location of genes on chromosomes.
Objective : Describes the location of genes in chromosomes (S9LT-Id-28)
Chromosomes are the condense form of DNA
(Deoxyribonucleic Acid) that carries the hereditary
information of every living things while Genes are the
fragments of DNA where the specific traits are stored.
When we uncoiled the DNA we can locate the genes as
shown in the illustration. Basically, genes and
chromosomes are just DNA in different form.
Topic : Non-Mendelian inheritance: Incomplete Dominance, Sex-linked Traits, and Multiple alleles.
Objective : Explains the different patterns of non-Mendelian inheritance (S9LT-Id-29).
