The document identifies spelling errors made by a student when learning to write, including spelling "rab" for "red", "apl" for "apple", "q" for both "k" and "u", and "blo" for "blue". It relates these errors to theories of how sounds are linked to letters. It recommends teacher intervention and strategies like making flashcards with letters and having students find letters in words according to Bruner's scaffolding theory to help students learn letters and reduce errors over time. Progress will be assessed through worksheets asking students to fill in missing letters and write color names.
