General Instructions for Applicants
Dear Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in the MBA program. As you are preparing to submit your application, we
wanted to highlight the following aspects of the application process.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BELOW WHICH WILL BE USEFUL WHILE FILLING
YOUR APPLICATION. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE A PRINT OF THESE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR
EASY REFERENCE.
1. Application Process
1. This is a common application portal to apply for DMS, IIT Delhi and/or DoMS, IIT Madras. If a
candidate wishes to apply to both these institutions, only one application needs to be submitted.
2. Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are
shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview).
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective
institute.
3. Interview process will be conducted in 4 cities: Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
Applicants need to give three preferences. The Institutes retain the final right to hold or not to hold
the interview process in any given location. The candidates must be prepared to be interviewed in
any location notwithstanding the city preferences given by them.
4. While the application process is common to both the institutes, the interviews will be conducted
jointly by the institutions. There will be only one common interview process for those who apply to
both DMS, IIT Delhi and DoMS IIT Madras.
5. Final selection list will be announced by the respective institute.
2. Essential requirements
a. WHO CAN APPLY
DMS, IIT Delhi DoMS, IIT Madras
Graduates in any discipline from a recognised Graduates in any discipline from a recognised
University with a minimum of 60% marks in University (or a professional qualification
aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.0 equivalent to that of a university degree as
CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the recognised by the UGC) with a first class or
qualifying degree. 60% and above in the qualifying examination
Candidates appearing for the final year of Final year students (of the above-mentioned
bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification program) are also eligible to apply. Such
examination and those who have completed candidates, if selected, will be admitted
degree requirements and are awaiting results provisionally, on the condition that they
can also apply. If selected, such candidates meet all requirements for the qualifying
will be allowed to join the programme degree before the start of the program and
provisionally, only if she/he submits a produce provisional certificate of completion
certificate by certain date. within two months of joining the program (by
September 30, 2018)
b. PREREQUISITES

Mode of payment: The application fees have to be paid only through Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit
Card.
The deadline for submitting the application online is Jan 29, 2018 (Monday) Midnight. It is the applicants’
responsibility to ensure that the application and the fee is submitted by the deadline. Only those
applications that are completed and for which the application fee has been received would be considered
for the selection process.
4. Correctness of information provided
The applicant will bear the full responsibility for the correctness and accuracy of the information given in
the application. Applicants are therefore strongly advised to verify the information provided by them
before submitting the application. No changes are possible after the application has been submitted.
Misrepresentation or providing wrong information, knowingly or otherwise, will result in the application
being summarily rejected at any stage of the application process.
