The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET)


Programme is a Japanese Government-
sponsored initiative promoting international
understanding, by appointing thousands of
young graduates and professionals to work full-
time in Japan as either Assistant Language
Teachers (ALTs) in schools, or Coordinators for
International Relations (CIRs) in government
offices.

JET is diverse! Candidates who already hold or


will obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
(before Departure for Japan) are welcome to
apply. If you have always been curious about
Japan, are passionate about education
and culture, and are ready for a once-in-a-
lifetime work experience at the heart of local
communities throughout Japan, then the JET
Programme is for you!
