A NEW HOME, A NEW LIFE
When I graduated in grade school, I have experienced all kinds of bullying;
physically, mentally and emotionally. So here in HTA, I am hoping that nobody will
hurt me again. On my first day at HTA, I felt nervous. I was surrounded with new
faces, new environment and new attitudes. I remembered the day that everyone
need to introduced yourself in front of my new classmates. I was ashamed that
time, but I overcame that feeling. In HTA, all is well. I don’t talk that much. I prefer
to just observed my new classmates, new teachers and my new environment. I
chose to be alone at all times. But that doesn’t mean that I am a loner and have
no friends. I told myself that I can adjust to my new home and my new life.
Moments that I can shared was the event of Foundation Day. There I came to
mingle with my classmates and other teachers. I gained a lot of friends during
Foundation day. They were always there to support me. I have succeeded when
I performed with my classmates. And also, I am active in academics except in
Filipino class. I’m not that kind of smart person, but through my hardworking and
dedication, I did my best.
I am not afraid to show my affection with my family. I vocally tell them stories of
what has happened for the day in school. I can have relayed to my grandma
who’re been close to me. Names of my classmates who make fun out of me, and
she told me just to stay away from those boys and don’t be bother anyway. And
also I always remind my mother how much I appreciated all they have done to
me.
I need to improve in Filipino subject. That’s why I have a tutor in Filipino every
Saturday and Sunday. She explained to me the stories I have read. Fortunately,
little by little, I come to like Filipino.
Thank you Sir Ricard for all the love, care and support you’ve given me all this
time. Little note of yours during exam really appreciated. Thank you for boosting
my morale. We may not remember everything you said but we will remember
how special you made us feel. To my CLED teacher, thank you for all the
teachings of God. I have learned to pray, hear mass on Sunday and be
compassionate to everyone. And to Jesus, thank you for all the blessings,
guidance and the love given to me and my family. Thank you for protecting me
in harms against sickness and evil doing.
