The Box
One day, I went back to my home after finishing the lessons of school, (clumsy sentence structure)
…after finishing my school lessons” there was a small box seemed to be put in the front of my room.
The box was shaking slightly with a strange noise. I was wondering who put this box there and
what’s inside? -decide present or past tense?
I opened the box decidedly. Suddenly, a magic green light was shinning (spelling) and then I found
a recreational machine in the box. I pressed the button to try to turn it on, but unexpectedly, I was
turning green and inhaling into the game machine! (Be careful of your tense)! I was scared. I
screamed. Opening that box was the worst opinion in my life, I thought.
After a few seconds, I fell to the ground from the sky from about twenty floors high. Fortunately, I
was not even getting injured. Just when I rejoiced for it, I discovered I had worn a football jersey
with number 7, and my jersey is one of the most famous football club FC Barcelona. That was
unbelievable! I thought. Barcelona is my favorite football team and here has my favorite football
player, Leo Messi. Then, I was aware I was in a huge stadium. I yelled, “Oh my god! Are you kidding
me!” I was standing on the lawn of the most famous football court- Camp Nou, where the home
court of Barcelona and here is could accommodated more than 100 thousand people!
Afterwards, a crowd of people came out from the gate in the far. I took a closer look. O oh! That
was amazing! I saw Messi, Suarez, Iniesta and other famous players. They ran towards me and said
hello to me. I felt so weird because I did not why they know (knew) my name and why I can
understand Spanish! Then the couch (coach) asked me why I was so fast to be in training today?
And he told me, I was always late for the training. I became speechless because of astonishment, I
was still in confused but I was also excited for playing football with them. But how do I go back to
home? I wondered at the same time.
First, we started running and did some stretchings, (stretches) and then we practiced passing and
so on. I asked one of my “teammate” curiously in Spanish, “Hey, do we have any matches this week
and which team are we going to meet?” My teammates all looked at me strangely, they said, “Jason,
our next opponent is Real Madrid, do not tell us you don’t even know that, that would be the most
important game in this season, it will influence the champion of this season directly!” They looked
very serious in the training and then I was conscious of how important (this match was) of this
match.
After the training, I felt a powerful strength having flowed through my body, especially my legs,
having been stronger than before just like complementing the energy in the video game. For
preparing the game with Real Madrid, we have (HAD) trained hard and we have (WERE) ready for
a victory.
It was the day to confront our “mortal enemy”, Real Madrid. We came to their home field,
Bernabeu Stadium. We could not wait to start this world-class competition.

we had a great opportunity to change the score. We all knew it was probably the last only occasion
to win this game and we would let them taste the taste of failure!
Messi was dribbling and then he passed to Coutinho quickly. Coutinho rose up the ball and kicked
a long pass to me who was on the left. Soon afterwards, Ramos tried to kick the ball out of the
sideline, but I used deceptive movements and I broke through to the penalty area. I passed across
to Suarez, and then he left his foot and shot the ball powerfully!
GOAL!!!! Barcelona finished the game! Such wonderful last-gasp goal…!
We celebrated this wonderful victory together…
Bang! Suddenly, a glow of green light shined into my eye and I fainted on the ground…
