Code A Dance:

Expectation: Creating and Presenting: apply the creative process to a composition of

simple dance phrases using elements of dance to communicate feelings and ideas.

Use dance code cards to create a series of moves that

incorporates repetition, repeats (loops) and levels of
movement. Choose your music and get moving!

Comment: name created a dance that shows his/her (strong, considerable, some)
understanding of how the elements of dance (repetition, pace, levels, pathways and direction)
can be used to integrate and explore learning in other subject areas such as robotics. He/she
coded a dance for her/his classmates and other classes to try.

[ She/He also coded a dance for DASH using Blockly and in Scratch Jr for his/her character.]

I can add
loops to
repeat.
I’m starting
