Supercharger UX Audit Design Report

This design report summarizes the subsystem design for an automotive project. It includes: 1) A map showing the components of the subsystem and how they are integrated and connected to calculations. This helps the next team understand where to focus. 2) Details of new things implemented in this design compared to the last team's work, including the selection of components, materials, and subsystem type based on advantages and disadvantages. 3) The calculations used in the design along with references and explanations of how parameter values were determined. 4) A description of problems faced during the design process and how the next team can prepare to address them.

Design report - Subsystem.

Benchmarking and literature study-

Name of books you went through, Links of the slides you read, what material did you study for
benchmarking. State some (or many) points for subsystem. State the required softwares you had to
learn for designing and analysing. Problems of last time and how do you think of solving that.

You should tell on what basis benchmarking should be done (however keep it for last as months have
passed and their is much to do in the report)

A MAP of Subsystem showing components and their integration along with their connection to
calculations.
It would help next team to understand where to focus. Assuming that the automobile club has
introduced subsystems.
A map of braking subteam is being attached here so that you understand what you are expected to do.
State NEW THINGS you did this time from the last team.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE a certain component or material or type of subsystem /part. State
advantages or disadvantages. You can give a selection matrix.
Give a relative comparison of different Materials (mainly metals), using a proper table. I don’t want
the next team to go for a search of material properties.

Paste the CALCULATIONS and give the reference from where you used these calculations. Show
which team or which component will give the value of the required parameters. You may have chosen
some parameters due to rulebook constraints, due to benchmarking results, due to last team’s value, a
well thought value, a random averaging due to stated reasons ,etc. State why did you chose that value.

SINCE IT IS RAW DESIGN REPORT, INCLUDE PROBLEMS YOU FACED SO THAT

NEXT CAN PREPARE THEMSELVES ACCORDINGLY.
The problems can be, unwilling to do work for yourself and other members(should also state
reason and solutions), connectivity problems in vacations, lack of knowledge or any skill, e.t.c.(if
possible tell how to eliminate it).

State how COMPONENTS DESIGN were made. What were design criteria. How did you
managed to get to the design. What input helped you to move forward when you were stuck
somewhere. How that component will be integrated into vehicle. What input could make your work
easier for designing or for CAD integration.

Give the ANALYSIS PROCESS. It would be better if you explicitly explain the process in any
software you followed. You will have to make them learn in one shot. It is very important thing to do
as when they learn to do analysis on early stage and easily, they (next team) may find some improved
way to do the analysis since they are not tired of searching searching and searching.

Just go on as far as you can remember.

STATE HOW OTHER TEAM SHOULD HAVE DESIGNED THEIR COMPONENT SO

THAT OPTIMUM DESIGN WAS MADE. IT IS A GOOD PLACE FOR Innovtion.
You can state any other things you feel are good to improve performance for next team.
Including images and website links will make the report more effective.
