A, B, C, D, E
Room 4: Mimics
Alcoves are carved into the eastern wall of the chamber, each holding a chest. Before each chest
is a large letter, scrawled in Chondothan script into the tiled floor. The letters from north to south
are A, B, C, D, E. In the center of the room square a chill takes whoever walks into it and a riddle
is whispered in their ear: "I begin eternity, And end space, At the end of time, And in every
place, Last in life, Second to death, Never alone, Found in your breath, Contained by earth,
Water or flame, My grandeur so awesome, Wind dare not tame, Not in your mind, Am in your
dreams, Vacant to Kings, Present to Queens." Answer: The letter “E”. The chest at E is filled with
treasure, A-D if touched will awaken the four mimics slumbering who attack.
Room 1: Air Elementals
Monstrous faces are carved into the walls and all over the floor. At the far end, a demonic face
holds a massive sapphire in it's mouth (worth 1,000gp). Crossing the room without touching the
faces takes a Acrobatics (Dexterity) check with a DC of 20. If any faces are touched or stepped
on, wind starts blowing loudly (All characters in room treated as deaf) and a pair of Air
Elementals flows out with them, battering and attacking party members.
Room 3: The cursed circlet
A trio of phase spiders have coated the room in webbing, among the webbing being a skeleton
bearing a gleaming golden circlet bound with a pink diamond. The circlet is a cursed item,
granting +2 to all charisma-based skill and ability checks but inflicting disadvantage on resisting
charisma based skill-checks, abilities and spells of the enchantment school
Room 2: The Map
The secret room is unassuming but the pattern on the floor with a wisdom or intelligence check
DC 12 reveals a complete map of all traped doors and the true exit to the next floor.
