This table provides design densities and water demands for sprinkler systems based on occupancy hazard levels. The five hazard levels listed are light, ordinary 1, ordinary 2, extra hazard group 1, and extra hazard group 2. For each hazard level, the table provides the minimum design density in mm/min and gpm/ft2, the minimum required area of operation in m2 and ft2, and the water demand in gpm for sprinklers only.
