Task AG1
Open a new document using word processing software
Enter Task AG1 as left aligned and your name as right aligned in the footer of the document.
Save the document as Task_AG1 (2)

Task AG1.a - Mukesh wants to create a logo for the stall, and he downloaded some images (Which is provided
to you in images folder)
Open a suitable graphics editing package
Mukesh want to use the [Link] file as his logo
In the place of Company Name he want to use Books Online (2)
Save the image as [Link] (2)

Task AG1.b Open the document Task_AG1


Insert the logo (2)
Explain whether selection of image by Mukesh for the logo is suitable or not? (3)
Save the document (1)

Task AG1.c-Mukesh wants to use a books stalls picture in his website. He downloads the image

Open the image in suitable graphics package
Crop the image to remove the name amazonbooks from top of the image (2)
Resave the image as BookStall (2)
Paste a copy of the image in Task_AG1 and explain the benefits of reducing the size of the image (3)
Word Processing
Task WP1- Mukesh wants to make a letterhead for his bookstall
Open a new Microsoft Word document (1)
Enter Task WP1 as left aligned and your name as right aligned in the Header of the document. (1)
Use the [Link] as logo and create a letter head with the above given detail (5)
Save the file as Task_WP1

Task WP2-Mukesh wants make a A4 size posters to advertise his bookstall


Task WP2.a- Select the appropriate information from [Link] and images from the images folder and complete
the poster as below
Poster should have the logo and contact details. (4)
Use a Suitable title (1)
Use suitable images from image folder. (2)
Find and replace all the occurrences of Makeen books to [Link] (2)
Check the finished poster is fit for the purpose (4)

Task WP2.b-The owner wants to send an internal memo to all his staff stating that there will be 10% discount
for any staff purchases.
Open the word document Task_WP1 (2)
Create a memo using the information available in [Link] file (5)
Insert a table to display the discount details (2)
Save the task as Task_WP2b (2)
