Pre-Observation Conference Insights

My mentor teacher provided feedback on my lesson plan for an upcoming classroom observation. She suggested adding preparation activities tailored for each student level and having students write letters on the board. My mentor also asked me to change some elements of the lesson plan, including reading a story with expressions and gestures instead of just asking students about it without reading. I was asked to modify one activity and create a new one where students write words and match them to related pictures to stick on the board. I learned from this pre-observation conference to design engaging activities, read stories expressively, and have my lesson plans reviewed in advance to ensure they are sound.

classroom. She give me some comments, like she say that I preparation
activity for each level, I also preparation to let students writing on the
board the letters. My MST ask me to change some point in my lesson
plan, she ask me to read a story with some with expressions and
gestures rather than ask S about story without reading, and ask me to
change the activity and make another one with something interesting,
like let S to write the word with picture relate with it and stick on the
board. I learn from this Pre-observation conference that I should make
interesting activities, reading story with expressions and gestures. Also
I learn that I should Pre-observe with someone to make sure that the
lesson plan is correctly.
