This is a good starting question for the survey as it

lets us know the number of festivals that the


participants have been to. 100% of the answers
were for 1-5 festivals.
We chose to find out which festival was most popular within
the survey population, we found that 100% of the
participants enjoyed Reading festival the most.
We wanted to find out how people get their alcohol at
festivals, it proves that the most popular method is to
take your own, we know this as 100% of the survey
population said that they take their own alcohol into
music festivals.
We wanted to find out some of the prices that people are
willing to pay for a festival ticket as it will let us know how
much people want to go to festivals as people will pay
anything in order to see the acts that they love, the average
price, based on the results is between 150-200 71.43% of
the participants agree with this.
We wanted to get the opinions of the participants
on what makes them want to go. The most
popular responses is for either the acts at the
festivals or for the intoxication purposes.
We wanted to find out which is the most popular festival to go to for
first time festival goers, we found out from the results that the most
popular by 100% is reading festival.
Lastly we wanted to know what it is about music festivals
which is resulting in an increasing number of younger people
attending them. We found out that its the freedom that it
provides but the majority said the musical acts draw in the
most attendees.
