Need of Management of information system is that the system ensures that an


appropriate data is collected from various sources, processed, and sent further to all
the needy destinations.

The importance of MIS is to convert data from internal and external sources into
information that can be used to aid in making effective for the management to

NEED of MIS in the different levels of the organisataion

The Top Management or strategic planning level determines the the long
term decisions, developing business plans and execution strategies.

For The Middle Management MIS provides operational data for making
plans, scheduling, setting, targets and controlling business functions.
At the Bottom level management MIS assist the staff by responding to their
queries on the data related to the transaction , assisting the customers in the
best possible way using all the details.
