Feasibility Of Study

Feasibility Study is a step towards identification of the candidate system as a feasible product.
First the studies often pre-suppose that when the feasible document is being prepared, the
analyst is in a position to evaluate solutions.

Second, most studies tend to over look the confusion inherent in a system development] the
constraints and the assumed attitudes.

If the feasibility study is to serve as a decision document, it must answer three questions :

Is there a new or a better way to do a job that will benefit the user?
What are the cost and savings of the alternative?
What is recommended?

Feasibility considerations:

There are three key considerations to the feasibility study:

1. Economic Feasibility
In economic feasibility study , we evaluate the costs and returns to know whether
returns justify the investment in the system project.

A system is only feasible if the benefits and the returns generated from the MRP of
the clothes sold online are several timesw more than the cost invested on the
finished product (stitching,packaging, transporting etc.)

It includes quantification and identification of all the benefits expected. This


mai9nly involves cost benefit analysis for our system.

2. Technical Feasibility
Technical feasibility includes answering questions like
a. Does the necessary technology exist to do what is suggested and can it
acquired?
b. Can the system be expended?
c. Is there any technical surety of accuracy, reliability, ease of access and data
security

3. Operational Feasibility
Operational Feasibility study helps us to know whether our system will work
properly or not when will it be developed and installed.
