FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction
to students in compliance with the Airways Academy Training and Safety Standards and applicable
aviation authority regulations. They ensure that each student meets course standards, training
requirements and objectives as well as a focus on developing the students professional behaviour
and attitude.

SELECTION CRITERIA

I. Ability to work well in a highly structured environment

II. No aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions

III. Team oriented

IV. Result oriented

V. Strong written and verbal communication skills

VI. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

VII. Current Commercial Pilot License

VIII. Minimum requirements as indicated in Training Standards and as required by local aviation
authorities

IX. English ICAO level 5
