Essential Keyboard Shortcuts for Mapping

Keyboard shortcuts allow you to quickly: 1) Create, open, save, print and close maps. Navigate maps using arrow keys, page up/down and bookmarks. Zoom and scroll the map window. 2) Add, edit, format and move topics and other objects. Select topics and objects. Cut, copy, paste and delete selections. 3) Show different levels of detail, filter the map, and view notes. Use general Windows commands and get Help.

Save the current map CTRL+S
Save as F12
Close current map CTRL+W
