Making Connections Conference 2023

The two-day Making the Connections Final Conference will take place on July 3rd-4th at Loughborough University. The provisional program includes panels and presentations on the topics of narratives of belonging, the transformative role of art, education and employment challenges for migrants, young migrants' experiences, participatory art methodologies, and more. Keynote speakers will discuss themes of identity, culture, and the arts' roles in research and social action. Performances are planned as well as opportunities for food, music, and discussion.
