PROGRAM: OPS-ENGLISH for Form 1

TOPIC UNIT 5 : MONEY MATTERS (Building Blocks)
MATERIALS Laptop, speaker, extension cable, LCD projector set, videoclip: Cha-Ching - Please
Little Spender, Think
STEPS 1. Set up the AV gadgets.
2. Play the videoclip.( [Link] )
3. Let the students watch and listen to how Cha-Ching spends her money
on sale items and misses her concert.
4. Based on the answers shared by the children, teacher may summarise
and relate the answers to the subsequent activities that will be
conducted.

Notes: Money is a limited resource and we should learn how to spend it


wisely. Before spending, assess your needs and wants. Only make purchase
because you need them not because they are discounted items.
