Understanding Music Note Values

The document discusses musical note values and their durations. It provides a table with the five most common note values - whole note, half note, quarter note, eighth note, and sixteenth note - and their corresponding number of beats. It then has exercises to fill in the missing numbers of beats for each note value in the table and to identify the note value that equals a given number of beats.
