1. INT. PURGATORY. DAY
MIKE is lying on the floor asleep. He stays still for a
while, before stirring a little. His eyes open, and his eyes
wander. He sits up and finds himself in a room full of paper
planes. He picks a paper plane near him and looks at it
closely. He picks up another one and this time, he notices
the writing on one of the wing flaps. He opens the paper
plane and reads the words on the paper.
I have feelings. Dont you know that?
2. INT. ROOM. DAY (FLASHBACK)
Mike is by the foot of his bed, watching a movie. Mike is
mumbling the characters line, as he munches on his food.
NATE is on Mikes bed, busy on his phone. Nate puts his
phone down and looks at Mike.
NATE
Hoy (character from whatever movie
hes watching), kuha ka pa niyan.
MIKE
Cant you see Im busy?
NATE
Dali na! Napanood mo na yan e.
MIKE
Kahit na! Why dont you get it?
NATE
Im the guest here. Bahay mo to
diba?
Mike ignores Nate and continues watching.
NATE
Hoy! *throws pillow at Mike* Alam
mo kasi, it doesnt matter how many
times you watch that. Hindi
maiinlove sayo ang Camille mo sa
kakapanod mo niyan.
MIKE
*looks at Nate* My Camille? Since
when did she become mine? I dont
even like her. *laughs*

NATE
*laughs sarcastically* Ako pa
niloko mo. Dont deny it na.
MIKE
Wala akong dinedeny, okay?
NATE
Wag ka ngang torpe! Ako napapahiya
sayo e! Youre my best friend, man!
Please, wag ka ngang bakla. You
like a girl, so tell her!
MIKE
I dont like Camille.
NATE
You dont? Final answer?
Mike doesnt do or say anything. Nate shakes his head at
Mike before muttering "Torpe" as he starts to type on his
phone again.
3. INT. PURGATORY. DAY
Mike sighs and re-reads the first paper plane. He throws the
plane across the room and picks up another random plane. He
opens it and reads the writing on it. His eyebrows crease
after he reads the content of the plane.
Its you.
4A. EXT. PARK. DAY
Mike and CAMILLE are walking along the park. Camille pauses
mid-conversation when she notices Mike smiling slightly at
the floor.
CAMILLE
You seem so... happy.
MIKE
I do?
CAMILLE
Yeah. I dont think you were even
listening to me.
MIKE
Ha? Are you hallucinating?
Nakikinig kaya ako sayo!

CAMILLE
Sige nga, what did I say?
Mike doesnt say anything and smiles
CAMILLE
At bakit ka naman distracted ha? Do
you like someone?
MIKE
I do not. Trust me. *awkardly
laughs*
Camille doesnt say anything, and the two continue walking
side by side.
4B. EXT. PARK. DAY
Camille and Mike are seated on swings. The creaking of the
swings break the silence of the park.
CAMILLE
So, whos the lucky girl?
MIKE
Lucky girl? I should be the one
asking you that! Whos the lucky
guy, Cam?
CAMILLE
Come on! I asked you first! And
walang lucky guy!
MIKE
If youre not telling me who the
lucky guy is, then Im not telling
you who the lucky girl is!
CAMILLE
So there is a lucky girl?
MIKE
How are your classes going?
They both laugh.
CAMILLE
So meron nga? Quit changing the
subject!

MIKE
Fine, fine. There is someone, and
she doesnt know yet. Ayokong
mareject.
CAMILLE
Why are you assuming naman na
marereject ka? Pano kung hindi?
What if she likes you back pala?
MIKE
I doubt it.
CAMILLE
Well, either way, you have to tell
this girl. Grab the chance while
you have it. Pano kung you dont
get the chance anymore?
Mike shrugs and continues swinging. Camille sighs and
continues swinging as well.
(The sequence starts with the sound of the swing lang, it
ends with that too)
5. INT. ROOM. DAY
Mike is on his bed when Nate and Camille enter his room.
MIKE
Camille! Dude, you didnt tell me
Camille was coming!
NATE
We had dinner eh. I brought her
here na to save me a trip.
Nate goes farther in to the room and Mike sees Nate and
Camilles hands intertwined.
MIKE
When did that happen?
CAMILLE
Just recently. Nate didnt tell
you?
Camille looks at Nate with a raised eyebrow.
NATE
Sorry. I kind of forgot. Its
alright, its not like I value his
opinion.

CAMILLE
Nate!
NATE
Kidding!
Mikes disposition changes. He becomes awkward.
MIKE
Im happy for you guys! Nates a
very lucky guy to have you, Cam.
CAMILLE
Thank You. Does your lucky girl
know yet?
Mike and Nate have eye contact for a few seconds.
MIKE
Hindi pa eh. I dont know if I
should still tell her.
CAMILLE
Why not? Ano ka ba! Sayang yung
chance!
MIKE
I dont think its worth it,
honestly. Its me whos going to
get hurt in the end anyway.
The three are silent for a few seconds before Nate hits Mike
with a pillow.
NATE
Ang arte mo! What the hell dude?
Stop doing that.
Camille starts laughing and so does Nate. Mike laughs but
there is a hint of sadness in his laugh.
6. INT. PURGATORY. DAY
Mike sets the second plane down and picks up another one. He
becomes confused as he reads the words on the plane.
Im sorry I cant be what you want me to be.
6.
7. INT. DINING ROOM. DAY
Mike and his dad are having breakfast in silence.
DAD
How are your grades?
MIKE
Theyre fine, dad.
DAD
Fine? Fine isnt good enough,
Michael. You know that.
MIKE
Yes dad, I know.
DAD
Im not sure you do.
MIKE
I do, Dad.
Mike rolls his eyes and puts his head down while eating. His
dad continues talking about how he should raise his grades
and how he wants him to follow his footsteps.
8. INT. ROOM. NIGHT
Mike is on his bed, scrolling at Camilles pictures on
Facebook. He smiles as he goes through more. His smile drops
as he sees a series of pictures with Matt.
He then hears his dad talking on the phone with someone. He
hears his dad say his name which catches his attention. His
dad says something about him being a disappointment and
about him being to stubborn to listen to his dad.
9. EXT. STREET. NIGHT
Mike is walking along the sidewalk, tears rimming his eyes.
His phone beeps before he crosses the street. He reads the
message and sees that it was from Nate. Tears fall as he
crosses the street. Just as he crosses, a speeding car comes
his way, hitting him.
7.
10. INT. PURGATORY. DAY
Mike is still seated on the floor. He stares at the last
plane as tears fall down his face. He cries harder as he
realizes the purpose of the words on the plane.
