5. Reflection: After doing this project the students will achieve improved research skills
when to comes to looking up topics on the internet. Also, students will learn organizing skill
on presenting information to a group. Students can work independently to complete an
assignment While presenting, students will get a chance to improve their presentation skills
in front of an audience made of their peers, while their peers work on improving their
observation skills. Students will be submersed into the world of their person they are
researching. During presentation time, students will learn about their peers idols and see
how those people lived their live. This will help them gain an outside view of what makes
other great in their peers eyes. I chose to model what I expect their final project to look
like also, I modeled how to find the information they need to for complete the project. I
think a huge strengthen in this lesson will give students a chance to show case what is
important to them to their peers and learn tolerance of how their peers see the world. A
few weaknesses I can see are this lesson plan might take longer than a day to complete and
students may have problems with coming up with an idol to spotlight for this project. Also,
the computer lab could not be available or students might pick the same person to
spotlight.
